About the role
You will lead a team that lets the world know how great our brands and shows are. That means delivering content to journalists, managing talent and stakeholders and developing great strategies, events and social conversation that get people talking and sharing the stories we want to tell.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves content, is passionate about the New Zealand media and entertainment industry and thrives in a fun, creative and highly motivated team environment.
You'll have a genuine passion for the TV and entertainment industry and have at least seven years' experience in public relations. You'll also have social media, talent management, brand activation and event management experience.
A natural and decisive leader, excellent writing and presentation skills are a must, as you'll often be the voice and sometimes the face of our business.
You'll have fantastic media and industry relationships, and a flair for innovation and thinking outside the square. As well as leading publicity strategy for TVNZ, you'll manage workload, planning and priorities, challenge and inspire the wider team and deal with issues management.
You can keep calm and problem solve quickly in a high-pressure working environment, where no day is the same.
